Dr. Willem van Staden

Dr van Staden graduated from Stellenbosch University (MBChB) in 2009 and furthered his expertise by obtaining a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care (2014), Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health from the University of the Witwatersrand (2021), certification in Travel Medicine from the University of Witwatersrand (2022) and certification in Underwater Medicine from the University of Stellenbosch (2023). He also completed short courses in Basic Surgical Skills, Basic Ultrasound, ICU care and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Experienced Providers, Paediatric Advanced Life Support as well as Advanced Trauma Life Support.

During his career, Dr. van Staden gained experience in various trauma and surgical units. He has also worked internationally in several countries and supported remote medical clinics across Africa.

With a particular interest in Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Travel Medicine, and Tropical/Infectious Disease Care, Dr van Staden is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and safety of individuals and organisations. 

In his spare time, he enjoys running and exploring nature.
